Adventure Day 1 – Friday, October 2, 2009
Today we will sit back, relax and get to know and enjoy our fellow travelers as we travel in Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware and Maryland making our way to Mt. Laurel, New Jersey for our overnight stop.

Adventure Day 2 – Saturday, October 3, 2009
An extraordinary sight is in store for us this morning as we view the Statue of Liberty and other buildings of the New York City skyline from Liberty Park in New Jersey. We will have lunch on Old Say brook, Connecticut at Dock & Dine. The afternoon will include a stop at Mystic Seaport, the home to the largest collection of ships and boats in the world that includes the Charles W. Morgan and the Joseph Conrad. We will be able to browse and shop in the exhibit buildings filled with ship models and other seagoing artifacts. Warwick, RI will be our stop for the night.

Adventure Day 3 – Sunday, October 4, 2009
Today is the day! Whale Watching! You are fortunate to experience an unforgettable excursion across Cape Cod Bay to Stellwagen Bank, feeding ground of the world's largest mammals. You will be awe struck when you see these amazing creatures. You are guaranteed a sighting as you enjoy the cruise on one of the open decks or in the climate-controlled main cabin. Lunch will be on your own aboard ship. Our fascinating day is not over yet. A guide joins us for the “Ten Mile Drive” of elegant homes and estates in Newport, RI where we will tour one of the mansions. We will have free time to explore and shop in the picturesque town of Newport before traveling on to our motel for the night.

Adventure Day 4 – Monday, October 5, 2009
What an exciting adventure the day has in store for us! We will have a guide this morning to show us the lovely area of Hyannis Port before we board the ferry (along with our motor coach) for a cruise to Martha's Vineyard for a full day of sight seeing and shopping. Much of the island remains the same as when it was first settled with its oak bluffs, marshes, and beautiful beaches. We will see yacht harbors, and a harbor-side community of stately old homes. Lunch and shopping time will be in beautiful Edgartown. We will enjoy a delicious seafood dinner at Weathervane Seafood Restaurant in Plymouth.

Adventure Day 5 – Tuesday, October 6, 2009
This morning we will make a picture stop at “The Plymouth Rock” before traveling to Boston for lunch at Quincy's Market. After lunch a local guide will join us and give us a tour of this historical and great city. The tour will include the Old North Church, Old Ironsides, and other points of interest. We spend the night in Scarborough, Maine.

Adventure Day 6 – Wednesday, October 7, 2009
Our destination today is Portland, Maine where we will visit the Portland Head Light House which is said to be the oldest lighthouse in continuous use. This is an awesome place to take pictures. Also today, we will visit the L.L. Bean main store in Freeport where you can shop for some of your favorite apparel. The afternoon will find us in the White Mountains of New Hampshire for our overnight stay in North Conway.

Adventure Day 7 – Thursday, October 8, 2009 Today we will continue our sight seeing in New Hampshire, making a stop at The Flume Gorge and other interesting places. This afternoon we travel to Montpelier, Vermont for a stop in this lovely capital city and then on to White River Junction for dinner and overnight.

Adventure Day 8 – Friday, October 9, 2009
Today we will view probably some of the prettiest fall scenery of this entire trip as we enjoy the splendor of the Green Mountains. We will continue south in Vermont, visiting the Bennington Museum that houses the largest public collection of works by Anna Mary Robertson Moses, better known as Grandma Moses. You will have the opportunity to also visit the Grandma Moses schoolhouse nearby. We travel to Wilkes Barre, PA for our overnight stop.

Adventure Day 9 – Saturday, October 10, 2009
Relax today and enjoy the scenery as we travel home through West Virginia and Virginia, taking with us memories of this wonderful adventure through the New England states. We will be amazed at all the history that was brought back to our memory this week and the new things that we learned as well. We will arrive home in the late evening.
